Residential Treatment for Male and Female Adolescents

Falls Academy is a residential treatment program that serves both male and female youth looking for more intensive care than is offered in an outpatient setting.

Falls Academy is a 30-bed facility licensed by the State of South Dakota and accredited by the Joint Commission. Our environment of care provides a trauma-informed treatment setting through which continued recovery and resiliency are promoted for life-changing success.

Utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches, Falls Academy provides medical, clinical and educational services in a staff secure setting for moderate to high risk youth. Based on each youth’s needs and individualized treatment plan, lengths of stay can range from 3 to 12 months. Residents have access to a fully-accredited on-campus school for junior and high school programming, which offers special education services, GED preparation and completion, and credit recovery.
